I absolutely adore our beautiful North Queensland Winter. The air is crisp and clean, the sun is out and all of our surrounding sugar cane is in flower. The nights are fresh, and last night we were able to use our little pot belly stove to keep warm. But, there is always that anticipation lingering in the air for the next summer. When you can spend hours at the beach, enjoying salty air, sandy feet and sunkissed skin.
These photographs were taken in summer, so I am a little late with this post, but thought I should share anyway.
"In the midst of Winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer" - Albert Camus.
