Some of you may have noticed, or maybe not, but throughout the month of October I travelled through America for four weeks. The first stop was Los Angeles. Those of you who have been to Los Angeles in the warmer months know that the air is sweet and at times a bit sticky. It was hot and muggy, but there was a sense of excitement in the air everywhere that we went. Sometimes it rained, but mostly we were blessed with soft blue skies and warm sun. The people on the streets are wild characters, entertaining and colourful. I was very inspired by my time there and I took a lot of photographs.
One of my favourite parts of LA was Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach. I love the colours of LA's beaches - the loveliest warm tones - yellow, pinks and light blues. The pier was the perfect vacation setting and it was dotted everywhere with holiday-goers enjoying the sun and the beach activities. We ate ice creams and rode bikes along the boulevard all the way down to Venice Beach. I enjoyed watching the skaters at the park doing tricks and flips along with the huge crowd of people. Those famous Californian palm trees lined the entire coast line..and you could also find clusters of them growing around the city. Los Angeles was the perfect start to my month long vacation..
