Vietnam & Cambodia

The hustle and bustle of the floating markets, the ancient Cambodian temples of Angkor Wat, hidden beneath an overgrown jungle, the food - oh the food! The elephants! The majestic riverways and the crazy traffic that abides by no law whatsoever. The people, the children, the culture. Vietnam. Cambodia.

A Winter Moon

Wintermoon is an annual festival, nestled deep in the lush rainforest valleys of Cameron's Pocket, just north of Mackay.

I have loved going every year since I was 15. The folk harmonies carry around the campsites, bringing smiles to every festival-goer and my friends and I sit around campfires, singing lullabies while children's laughter echoes all around us.

It is one of my favourite times of the year - peace, pure love, happiness and music.

A Day In The Park

Inspired by 1920's fashion, lush green parklands and high tea.

Featuring the lovely Rachel's (yes, they're both called Rachel!) - Skinner and Wilks.

The year that was, 2011.

Out There

A small series that I produced during 2008, combining wearable art and landscape photography.

I was inspired by my rural surroundings - the brown dirt roads, rustic cane railway lines, baby calves and general farming lifestyle of my hometown, Seaforth. This piece taught me to appreciate the common contrast between fashion and stark surroundings.

Two of these photographs were selected as the winners of the Creative Generation Excellence in Visual Art and Design Awards and toured extensively across Queensland throughout 2009/2010.
