Antarctica Archives

I often find my mind wandering back to the time I spent in Antarctica. Those 10 days with my family were like no other, and we all felt a special connection to the frozen planet. It's kind of hard to explain and put into words. Sometimes, I feel like a certain part of me is still back there - maybe that's the traveller within me. The colours and textures of the Antarctic landscape completely drew me in and I don't think I'll ever experience an environment quite like it again.

I also find myself often looking back on my photographs - probably more than any other set of images I have every photographed. With the launch of the latest VSCO Slide Film 04, I decided to re-edit some of the beautiful scenes.

Bronwen & Family

This family was just so delightful to photograph! We decided to go down to the beach for a fun, playful  afternoon shoot. The two little ones played in the sand and ran up and down the beach, laughing and giggling. I love photographing on the beach, there is just something so relaxing about feeling your feet in the sand and the sea breeze in your hair X

The Popperwell Family

A few weekends ago, I photographed by close family friends, The Popperwells. We decided it would be best if I went around to their house, a beautiful old Queenslander, tucked away in the bush. It was very special to photograph the family there, as this house had been their home for many, many years. It spent many summer weekends there when Bec and I were in school - playing the garden, telling silly stories and chasing gecko's around the creaky, timber verandah
