When I was asked by Mia if I could photograph her baby shower, my answer was undoubtably YES! This gorgeous mumma-to-be is a beautiful vintage-inspired dress designer. She works under the name Blu Wedding Boutique and is based locally here in Mackay, however I was lucky enough to meet her through the Townsville Fashion Festival when I photographed it last year. Her baby shower was so nice, and hosted by her lovely friend Gwen, who made the most beautiful food for all of us! Delish heart shaped jam cookies, cheesecakes in little jars, cake pops and AMAZING little chocolate caramel balls that were just to die for. Peach paper pom-poms hung from the ceiling and bunting was strung up throughout the apartment. So many delightful bubs were there, and everyone thought Gwen's secret recipe cheese bread was very, very yummy! The whole event was just very joyful. Mia, I wish you all the best as you start your journey into motherhood!
