The wedding of Kellie and Rob was just beautiful. As I woke up that day, I looked out the window to see clouds and drizzle. The wedding was to take place over on Magnetic Island and the weather was not looking promising. With my camera in hand, I stepped onto the boat and crossed the seas to the island. Halfway there, the sun came out and the whole place turned into a tropical paradise. The beautiful rays of sunlight shone down on the quaint little ceremony, which was nestled beneath the trees by the beach. The whole wedding party was so laid back and fun, it was just lovely. While I was primarily the reception photographer, I was able to catch a few little snaps throughout the day. The decorations were just gorgeous - lanterns hung from the trees and bunting lined the aisle - it was all just like something from a delightful vintage garden party. The food was exquisite, and was all hand made by Theresa from The New York Cake Co.
